Jennifer Finch, a graduate of Kelvin High School, played with the University of Manitoba Bisons, 1980-85. She was named an All-Canadian in 1984-85, where she was the only guard named to the team. She was a GPAC (Great Plains Athletic Conference) All-Star in 1983-84 and 1984-85 and the GPAC Player-of-the-Year in 1984-85. That year Jennifer averaged 17.3 points per game and led the conference in FT attempted. During her five-year career as a Bison, Jennifer had four different coaches and was the consummate team player from her point guard position. She was also a member of Team Manitoba, the 1986 Senior Women’s National Champions, who were inducted in 2003.
