Peter began coaching in 1925, when he played and coached at the Central
Y.M.C.A in Winnipeg. From that time until the end of the 1935-36
season, he coached championship teams at a number of levels and, at
times, more than one team in the same season.
In 1932-33, he coached the Robertson Memorial Men's team, winners of the City and District and the Provincial Championships.
In 1933-34, Peter coached the Robertson Memorial Men's
Championship Team, the Olympias Sr. "A" Girls' Team, winners of the
City and District Championships, and the Free Press Men's Team, winners
of Sr. "A" honors.
In 1935-36, he coached the Dominion Business College
"Olympias", winners of the City and District, Provincial, and Western
Canadian Championships.
