A graduate of Vincent Massey (Brandon), Dori played the University of Winnipeg for four years from 1975 - 1979. She was a Great Plains Athletic Conference All-Star in 1978 - 1979 and a Canadian University
All-Star in 1978.
Dori played on Canada's National Team from 1977 - 1982 and on the Canada's University Team in 1977, '79, and '81 which represented Canada at the World University Games.
