The "Kopper Kweens" were the varsity girls' Provincial Champions eight times (1950, '51, '52, '53, '54, '55, '58, and '60) and Provincial Finalists twice (1956 and 1957). Having no league in which to play, the "Kweens" played against boys' teams. At times, they entered the provincials without having played a single game against a girls' team.
